Joe with his intractable will
Never backing down
Kevin with his sassy candid attitude
And glossy brown hair,
And who could forget Nick
Who’s got panache in his funny manner
And Mirar whose voice
Fetes the classroom
In its brassy colors
Or Kyleen
With any of her stylish outfits
Being a Magnum Opus
And John with his amusing
Ecstasy in teasing Joe with
His TAG sentences,
Something he finds quintessential
And last is Kellin
With his almond eyes
And adorable diminutive height

It is all of you that warm my heart
In these minutes
As we work on projects
Pop music adding to these fizzy feelings
That fills my ribs with sunshine
My heart a replacement of the sun
With sweet cotton candy tenderness
Sticking to my teeth
Lingering as I leave
This nest of beautiful people and feelings

And I must confess
You are my unknown strength
Each of you possess something I wish for
And to see each of your lovely faces,
To be among such beauty,
Brings tears to my eyes
Because I don’t want to let this go
I want to keep this happiness close
Squeeze it so tight
That it’ll never become sand
That will slip between my fingers

But every season and every feeling
Has it’s time and so it is now
